| | The Word of God - The Bible | What does the word of God means to you?
How relevant is the word to you in this generation in the light of technological advancement and voice of reason. Sometimes it seems as if common sense goes against the scripture.
Do you often try to rationalize your way our of the scripture? Something along the lines of it does not matter; God understand; that was back in the bible days etc.

Sometimes it may seem that way but the Scriptures are way above our mortal common sense, the bible says that as the heavens are high above the earth so are the thoughts of our Lord and His ways. We do often times try to rationalize our way out of the scriptures but I bless the Lord for the abundance of grace and the gift of righteouness and the conviction of righteousness. We have to be more righteous than the law, we have to be more righteous and any thing that calls itsels righteous on this earth. It does matter, I pray for more righteousness in this day and age where christians are falling asleep walking and the ways of the world are so much in us that it's hard in broad day light to differentiate between a christian and a non-christian. Thank You for repentance of sins to get us back on to the right path.
I hope I have said enough if not, I can definitely expand of that, this has been my struggle ever since I decided to live for God.
