He has missed more opportunities than he has seized because he was afraid he would fail and then failed by default ?

When we let the ennemy control our mind, we might as well hand him over our life. We serve God with our mind, our flesh and the things of the flesh are for the ennemy. Now that you have realized that you have to set your mind on the things of God and then God Himself by His Spirit will empower you to do them. Set your mind on the things of God.
Be blessed. |

That he realizes the major obstacle is fear of the unknown...His problem is 50% solved. One can start again, regardless of age or condition, at any point in life to redeem the lost time. Positive effort will always produce results in the area which effort is placed. The remaining 50% is to increase his faith to outweigh the fear by doing something in the area which creates the most anxiety. I.e. A man has a fear of drowning so he never goes near large bodies of water. Perhaps he should take a beginner's swimming class at a community center to become comfortable in water & then progress gradually until he realizes that those fears are not grounded on anything. |
